If you love caviar, but have no idea how to serve it, other than on a plate.... here is one idea, that is quick yet elegant: Caviar Hard Boiled Eggs:
6 hard-cooked eggs6 tablespoons caviar (red or black)1 tablespoon chopped chives or green onions1 tablespoon chopped parsley1 tablespoon mayonnaise or sour cream1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Hard boil the eggs, and then shell them, cut them in 1/2 and remove the yoke. Mash these well and combine with the remaining ingredients. When it is thoroughly mixed together, spoon into the whites with a spoon, or pipe it in, using the rosette end of a pastry tube, or whatever pastry tube you prefer..
This can be served on a bed of greens and some french bread for a yummy appetizer or add more eggs for a light lunch or meal.
You can also serve caviar with crackers.
Caviar Cream Cheese Dip: 2 cups cream cheese1/4 cup minced chives1 small jar black caviar
Blend and serve as dip with crackers...
